A government regulatory body in Westminster is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner. This role involves delivering proactive people solutions and advising on complex HR issues. The ideal candidate will have significant HR experience and be CIPD qualified at level 5 or equivalent. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic and operational partner to directorates across the organisation, delivering proactive people solutions that support the SIA's objectives. The role provides expert advice on complex HR issues, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement, and performance improvement. The HRBP works closely with senior managers to build leadership capability and drive a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Our new structure will be organised into two distinct teams:
+ Shared Services Team - responsible for delivering HR business partnering across the organisation. This includes leading on change management, employee engagement, reward, data analytics, and day-to-day transactional HR processes.
+ Centre for Excellence - focused on talent acquisition, learning and development, and strategic workforce planning.
A key objective of this restructure is to evolve the HR function-from delivering primarily transactional services to providing a more strategic, value-added offer that drives performance, engagement, and inclusion.

CIPD qualified to at least level 5 or equivalent degree in HR
Significant experience in a generalist HR role at business partner level or equivalent including the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels, including with senior leaders.
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Strong track record of managing complex employee relations issues
Experience of workforce planning and supporting organisational change
Experience leading or contributing to HR projects
Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to handle ambiguity and make sound judgements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and diplomatically., CIPD qualified to at least level 5 or equivalent degree in HR
