As we continue to scale, we are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to support our people strategy and ensure a high performing, engaged, and compliant workforce across all locations.

Role Overview

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor to leadership and a trusted partner to managers and employees across the UK. You'll be responsible for delivering a full spectrum of HR services with a focus on employee relations, talent management, performance, engagement, and compliance. You will drive HR initiatives that align with business goals, improve culture, and support growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
  • Lead on talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and high-potential development.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to embed a consistent performance management process across offices.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding efforts in collaboration with our internal talent acquisition teams.
  • Lead or support initiatives around learning and development, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with UK employment law.
  • Analyse HR metrics (e.g. turnover, absence, engagement) and provide insights and recommendations to improve people outcomes.
  • Drive cultural alignment and change initiatives that support a cohesive, collaborative, and inclusive environment across all locations.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to line managers, developing their people management capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within recruitment, construction, or fast-paced multi-site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Confident in managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices as needed (UK-wide).
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred.
