HR Business Partner role with Yorkshire Water, a Water Utility Company based in the Yorkshire region of England. This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week) in Bradford with hybrid working options.

Work type: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday within 8:00am–6:00pm.
What You’ll Do
- Work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and People colleagues to shape, develop and deliver people plans and solutions aligned with organisational needs.
- Act as the first-line departmental People expert, providing people management advice and development support to colleagues and managers across designated business areas.
- Lead and drive understanding of workforce, talent and succession plans; ensure alignment of organisation and people initiatives to improve performance and productivity.
- Provide People SME guidance and support across all stages of change, including employee relations, engagement, impact and implementation.
- Promote a positive engagement culture; support EDI/inclusivity; Peakon support; Talking Performance support.
- Use data and insights to drive proactive decision making; identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop, nurture and maintain strong industrial relations.
- Act as a trusted advisor and critical friend to the management team to help drive departmental goals and outcomes.
What Skills And Qualifications You Will Need
- Extensive business partnering experience including Trade Union engagement; CIPD/HR Degree qualification preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and effective interpersonal/influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, operational/front-line environment supporting field-based teams.
- Previous experience within the utilities sector is advantageous.
- Experience building and delivering strategic People Plans.
- Willingness to support flexible working patterns and job share options where possible.
