Job description

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Barrow-in-Furness.We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £50,000+ depending on skills & experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with leaders and management to deploy business-oriented solutions
  • Identifying and leading on all people and organisation requirements to deliver integrated solutions
  • Managing and delivering the full HR cycle
  • Coaching and supporting on all people related matters for your business area
  • Managing the day-to-day HR operations in additional to functional HR projects
  • Collaborating with line of business and leadership teams to implement change and continuous improvement
  • Lead on the analysis of people data to improvement performance, including developing and retaining critical skills

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role within a large organisation
  • Experience of collaborating with senior leaders and influencing decisions
  • Experience working on projects which drive improvements in process, policy or practice

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a Manufacturing, unionised or project-based environment
  • CIPD level 7 qualified, or working towards

The Submarines HR Team:

This is an excellent opportunity to support large-scale projects and programs by providing specialist HR expertise across various functions and seniority levels, including directors. You'll contribute to shaping and delivering people and business strategies, identifying organisational needs, and collaborating with HR Centre of Excellence to develop integrated solutions. The role offers exposure to strategic work and opportunities for professional development. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
