Our client seeks a Temporary Human Resources Business Partner based in Armagh to support directorate functions short-term in the trust. (Until November 2025)

This position is a temporary ongoing position. £27.49 per hour
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

The purpose of this role is to support the HR Business Partners in providing comprehensive human resource (HR) support regarding resourcing, organisational change, employee relations (ER), and terms and conditions of employment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing professional HR advice and coaching to managers and supporting Trust-wide HR initiatives in collaboration with HR Business Partners and the Deputy Director of Workforce.
  2. Supporting strategic HR focus for Divisional Management Teams and key stakeholders, including organisational development services.
  3. Proactively working with Divisional Management Teams and HR Business Partners to support workforce planning, modernisation, and performance improvement.
  4. Deputising for HR Business Partners as required.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Hold a CIPD qualification.
  • Demonstrable HR generalist experience in a large organisation.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-disciplinary, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Experience of undertaking Job Evaluation in the NHS.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and understanding of compliance risks.
  • Experience advising managers on disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues.
  • Experience supporting organisational change initiatives, including Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment).
  • Strong understanding of best-practice HR principles.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment.
