Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a leading automated logistics equipment provider. You will advise senior managers across the UK, shape people strategy and support a fast-paced, growing workforce.

This role covers employee relations, recruitment, change management, analytics and site development. Travel to UK sites is required, with occasional international travel, and you will partner with leaders to build capability and ensure fair, effective HR

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business or similar, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum CIPD Level 5; Level 7 is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER processes.
• Experience leading complex employee relations cases.
• Excellent data-driven approach to HR analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with UK managers to provide consistent HR guidance and coaching.
• Support leadership development and address performance and ER matters.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment and onboarding.
• Lead investigations and ensure fair resolution of issues.
• Utilise HR data to inform decisions and drive workforce strategy.
• Support HR projects and new site developments across UK operations.

With continued UK expansion, they are looking for a confidentHR Business Partnerto support multiple sites. This is a highly influential role where you will work closely with senior leaders, shape people strategy, and support a fast-paced, evolving workforce.

The opportunity

As anHR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers across the UK, providing expert HR guidance and helping to build strong leadership capability.

This role is varied and hands-on, covering employee relations, recruitment, change management and workforce analytics. You will also support HR projects and contribute to new site developments as the business grows.

What you'll be doing as HR Business Partner

• Partnering with managers to provide consistent HR advice and coaching
• Supporting leadership development and challenging where appropriate
• Managing the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, HR admin)
• Handling employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance)
• Supporting investigations and ensuring fair resolution of issues
• Using HR data and metrics to support decision-making
• Supporting HR projects across UK operations and new site launches
• Building strong relationships across multiple locations

This role involves some UK travel to their different sites and occasional international travel so flexibility is required.

What we're looking for in an HR Business Partner

• HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience
• A degree in HR, Business or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum CIPD Level 5, ideally level 7
• Strong UK employment law and employee relations knowledge
• Experience managing complex ER cases
• Strong HR data and analytical capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• HR systems experience (SAP SuccessFactors desirable)
