In addition, as part of a small team, you will bring generalist HR experience and contribute to delivering the wider objectives for the People Team as a whole.

We’re looking for someone who brings a passion for building inclusive systems that support everyone to thrive, uses data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure impact, engages and aligns effectively with stakeholders, and gets things done in a busy team.

DI&B Delivery:
  • Lead the implementation of the agreed DI&B roadmap, ensuring strategic goals are met.
  • Support the Head of People to integrate DI&B best practices into policies and processes, contributing directly to delivering the People Plan objectives.
  • Lead key initiatives to support a culture of learning and development, including taking ownership and maximising the use and results of the Trust’s learning system, and devising competency frameworks.
  • Tailor training to address specific audiences, from individual contributors to leaders.
  • Establish a framework for our DI&B values, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the organisation.
Learning and Development:
  • Oversee the development of focus groups, ensuring they are aligned with the DI&B strategy.
  • Deliver, evaluate, and support the design of DI&B training programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and facilitated discussions.
  • Champion our new learning platform to cultivate a learning culture by effectively managing and promoting its usage.
  • Provide guidance and resources to leaders, helping them drive engagement and impact.
  • Identify and address any areas of concern or conflict related to inclusion and diversity within the company.
  • Promote and oversee the development process, including career conversations and regular 1-1s to ensure continuous support and communication.
  • Build individual competency frameworks to support the new salary banding process and career progression.
General HR Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the resolution of employee relations, ensuring alignment with policies and fostering a supportive workplace environment.
  • Support line managers across recruitment, onboarding, performance, and pay.
  • Be a trusted first point of contact for HR queries.
  • Support the Head of People in driving initiatives to improve wellbeing, employee engagement, retention, and development.
Ways of working:
  • Analyse DI&B-related data to track progress, measure impact, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for leadership, highlighting key DI&B metrics and trends.
  • Work with HR systems, templates, and sensitive data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the People Team, Inclusive Talent Engagement Team, focus groups, and senior leadership.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for DI&B initiatives.
