About the Role

As an HR Assistant at Amazon, you will be instrumental in motivating our employees and enhancing their engagement through a fulfilling employee experience. Working closely with HR leaders and management, you will contribute to creating an engaging workplace environment and support various people-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with HR leaders and management on projects to foster an engaging workplace.
  2. Manage daily HR tasks such as onboarding processes, self-service tools, and attendance reviews.
  3. Utilize dashboards to generate reports for site leadership.
  4. Plan initiatives to promote employee wellbeing and onsite experience.
  5. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies, data protection, employment laws, and HR best practices.
A Day in the Life

This role involves working onsite with warehouse teams, providing direct support and engaging with employees. Depending on your location, you may rotate with other HR assistants to ensure continuous support. You will assist with HR processes, support leadership projects, and foster an inclusive environment where employees feel comfortable raising HR-related queries.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in HR, Employee Relations, or Payroll.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with onboarding processes and administration.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and HR/payroll practices.
