We are seeking to appoint two Interim HR Assistants for at least 3 months. The primary focus will be recruiting hard-to-fill vacancies across Southwark’s Adults and Children’s services, including Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. Responsibilities include onboarding new starters professionally and proactively, ensuring a seamless experience, and providing additional HR operational support to a busy HR Business Partnering team, including supporting projects and ER casework administration.
The ideal candidate will be able to support managers with daily recruitment queries, escalate issues when necessary, and work efficiently to maintain recruitment timelines. You should be a self-starter, team-oriented, and capable of carrying out pre-employment checks such as right-to-work verifications and other clearances, both domestic and international.
