Express Recruitment is supporting a forward-thinking financial services lending provider in recruiting an HR Assistant for their Nottingham office. The successful candidate will have experience working within an HR function, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills, and good knowledge of HR & Recruitment terminology.

In return, the company offers a hybrid working policy, a starting salary of up to c£30,000, and a benefits package including 25 days holiday plus stats, health insurance, eyecare scheme, and a modern office with a games and breakout room.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Support the management team with daily HR/employment related queries
  2. Liaise with internal colleagues, assisting with all HR matters
  3. Make amendments to confidential documents including contracts
  4. Provide recruitment support, including creating Job Adverts and CV screening
  5. Update confidential personnel records, ensuring adherence to the Data Protection Act
  6. Offer in-depth support and guidance following official HR policies and procedures
  7. Work closely with Payroll and Accounts to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience
  • Experience within a HR Generalist role, ideally standalone
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws
  • Support with the recruitment process
  • Relevant degree or specialist HR qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR regulations
