A local educational authority is seeking an experienced HR Assistant/HR Officer to join their team at Talbot Primary School. The successful candidate will provide HR support, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate strong organisational skills. Hours: 25 hours weekly, term time plus 2 weeks, permanent
Salary: Poole Grade D to F dependant on experience SCP 5 to 6 £25,583 to £25,989 FTE, £15,561 to £15,807 pro rata; SCP 7 to 11 £26,402 to £28,141 FTE, £16,059 to £17,116 pro rata; SCP 12 to 17 £28,598 to £31,021 FTE, £17,394 to £18,868 pro rata

We are looking to appoint an experienced, reliable, flexible and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our busy school business team. Previous experience of HR processes and procedures would be preferred, although training may be given to the right candidate. The post requires a high degree of interpersonal, organisation, communication and administrative skills, including using initiative, the ability to be flexible, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality and a professional approach.
The post holder must be numerate, computer literate with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and other HR packages.
