  • Following leaver procedures, including resignation acknowledgment letters.
  • Issuing ID cards.
  • Managing Buddy paperwork.
  • Issuing and following up on probation period forms (1, 3, and 6 months).
  • Collaborating with other HR Assistants to cover duties and share knowledge.
  • Producing employment letters and amending terms and conditions as needed.
  • Maintaining HR staff files and updating records per protocols.
  • Updating the HR database with absences, contract changes, new starters, and leavers.
  • Keeping Excel spreadsheets current (e.g., Nurse PINS, staff audits).
  • Performing daily reconciliations.
  • Supporting project work as required.
  • Keeping all files updated.
  • Attending weekly HR meetings via Teams.
  • Promoting health and safety in the workplace.
  • Developing a positive public profile for the service through good communication and professional staff representation.
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the Head of HR.
  • Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 (40 hours per week).

    • Minimum Level 3 CIPD qualification in HR (Essential)
    • At least 12 months UK experience in an HR Assistant role or higher
    • Experience in healthcare (Desirable)
    • Good general education
    • Effective team working and communication skills
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines
