Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, such as posting job advertisements and scheduling interviews.
  • Update and manage the HR database, ensuring data is current and compliant with regulations.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing induction materials and organising orientation sessions.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring timesheets and other relevant documents are submitted correctly.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and employee satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR-focused role, preferably within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
