As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic HR Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and general administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in HR and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment processes including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and conducting induction sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records, both digital and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes when required.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain HR databases and generate regular reports as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant administrative role.
  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
