About The Role
As our HR Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a seamless employee experience. You’ll work closely with the Group HR director to support a wide range of people operations including onboarding, HR administration, learning & development, and culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Systems - Maintain accurate employee records using our HRIS
- Draft contracts, offer letters, reference requests and other HR documents
- Support employee lifecycle administration (new starters, probation, changes, leavers)
- Track absence, holidays, and probation and performance reviews.
Recruitment & Onboarding - Coordinate job adverts, headhunt, interview scheduling and candidate communications
- Support onboarding and induction planning, including welcome packs and new starter paperwork
- Liaise with IT and office manager for new starter equipment.
Learning & Development - Assist with researching booking and tracking training sessions
- Maintain training records and support L&D initiatives across all agencies
- Assist with updating agency competency frameworks when required
Employee Engagement & Culture - Help organise internal events, recognition schemes and wellbeing activities
- Support DEI initiatives
- Monitor internal engagement tools and collate feedback
- Manage cross agency mentoring.
Payroll & HR Administration - Update all employee changes on the payroll spreadsheet and provide evidence of the requested change.
Compliance & Reporting - Ensure right to work checks and other employment compliance are up to date
- Support preparation for audits and HR reporting when required
- Update policies when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Some previous experience in an HR role, desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Clear communicator, able to work with discretion and confidentiality
- A proactive and friendly team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards) is desirable.
The Interview Process:
- If shortlisted, you will be invited to a 30-minute virtual call to learn more about the role and the group of agencies, and to ask questions.
- If selected, you will be asked to complete a role-relevant task, expected to take no more than one hour.
A final decision will follow.
