HR Assistant - Prestigious London School

Are You an HR Superstar? My client, a renowned independent London school, is looking for an organised and personable HR Assistant to join the Human Resources team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of HR, providing efficient administrative support while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

The role:

  • You will play a key role in supporting recruitment activities, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment procedures.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Handling reference checks and managing Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department as needed.

You will be/have:

  • Previous HR experience is preferred, particularly within educational or public sector environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to follow processes accurately and efficiently.
