Location: Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park, Station Road, Talacre

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HR department at Darwin Escapes!

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Assistant to support our People and Culture team at Talacre Beach Resort in Flintshire, North Wales. This is an ideal opportunity for someone starting their career in HR who wants to gain hands-on experience in a growing and modernising HR function.

As HR Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate data, supporting HR processes, and assisting with day-to-day operations across our People function.

This is a permanent position to work part-time hours (21 hours per week). Salary: £12.21 per hour (£13,333.32 per annum)

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general HR administrative support, including setting up electronic employee files and managing reference checks.
  • Monitor the time and attendance system and follow up with managers to ensure accurate records.
  • Upload and maintain employee documents within our HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Support the recruitment team by scheduling interviews and assisting with recruitment admin, especially during busy periods.
  • Assist with HR process improvement initiatives and support the wider People team on various projects.
  • Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR and internal data governance standards.
  • Provide administrative and diary support to the Director of People and Culture.

Required Criteria

  • Right to Live and work in the UK
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive work ethic

Desired Criteria

  • A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort
  • Basic administration skills would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
