Job description

A national charity focused on helping young people and children is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with a fantastic mission, whilst developing a career in HR. As part of this role, the company will pay for you to complete the CIPD HR qualification.

The role is fully remote/working from home offering flexible working hours. The salary is £25,000 plus very good benefits including the paid for CIPD qualification. It would be helpful if the role holder was able to visit the London (Stanmore) office 2 days per month for postal duties, but this is not essential.

In this role you’ll provide comprehensive HR support across the south/south-east of England, ensuring smooth HR operations, and maintaining accurate employee records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for HR to develop their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Essential skills & experience:
  1. Recent experience in a junior HR Admin role.
  2. Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills, able to handle multiple HR queries and tasks based on urgency.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  4. Experience working with Excel spreadsheets, including data entry and basic analysis.
