An opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to join the HR Team at Kent College, Canterbury. The HR Assistant will provide the school with an effective operational resources service within the HR Team and support the day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will have strong communication and administration skills, and a working knowledge of HR and Payroll systems, with the ability to demonstrate skills and competence using Microsoft Office. They will be educated to A level or hold an appropriate CIPD professional qualification (Level 3 or above).
The position is part-time, 24 hours per week Monday to Friday. There is flexibility on how the hours are worked throughout the week, and there is the possibility of the role being term-time only.
Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation located in Canterbury, just one hour from the center of London by train. The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day.
