Job Title: HR Apprentice / Administrator
Responsible to: HR Manager
Responsibilities:
- Produce, scan, and provide offer letters and contracts of employment to new and existing staff.
- Send out contract packs to all new employees, ensuring all information is returned in a timely manner and processed/ filed.
- Process staff data onto the HR information system (New Starters, Leavers, Change of hours / salary, and other contractual changes within the time scales to meet the payroll deadlines).
- Respond to reference requests received for ex-employees promptly.
- Update and maintain HR content on the Intranet.
- Monitor the HR Admin Inbox daily and action queries and reference requests.
- Collect, open, and distribute post for the team and deliver post to the post room.
- Support the HR department with maintaining HR administration support, including information processing, HR system management, and general HR administration.
- Provide overall HR administrative support, including mail merge and large mail outs.
- Maintain filing and archiving of all personnel files.
- Manage stock levels of stationery and order supplies as needed.

Training & Qualifications:
- GCSEs in Maths & English (grades 4/C or above) required.
- Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent, CIPD Level 3 Qualification (obtained or in progress).

- Proficiency in MS Office, web applications, and bespoke systems.
