To help us understand how we need to show up to provide the kindest possible care, we have identified 5 Qualities. These are the qualities we know we can coach, support, and develop in ourselves and each other so we can support those we care for to live their best life. We are CURIOUS: You ask questions to understand what is holding up a check or a start date, and look for the root cause rather than the symptom. We are COMPASSIONATE: You remember that every check you process belongs to a real person waiting to start, and you keep them informed, reassured and supported throughout. We are CREATIVE: You find practical ways to keep onboarding moving, working around obstacles without ever compromising compliance. We are COURAGEOUS: You chase, challenge and escalation when a check is at risk of delaying a start date, however senior the person you need to speak to. We can be COUNTED ON: You do what you say you will, keep records accurate and up to date, and give managers and colleagues information they can rely on.
