A charitable organization in the United Kingdom is seeking an HR and Payroll Officer to manage payroll and support HR functions, ensuring compliance with legislation. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience and familiarity with SAGE payroll software. The role supports a team dedicated to making a positive impact on disabled and autistic children.
We are seeking an enthusiastic HR and Payroll Officer to join our dedicated, experienced and growing team of professionals as we embark on a journey of expansion.
This is a permanent post supporting the HR Team with all employment-related matters and ensuring the Charity and its people are operating within the confines of all relevant legislation and best practice. The post holder will support in providing an effective and efficient HR Service which also includes recruitment, compliance and fleet management.

Our facilities provide a state-of-the-art base within the grounds of Keele University, Staffordshire, with the option of informal homeworking arrangements (up to 2 days a week from home) after passing probation.
The post holder will also be responsible for payroll, pension and benefits, ensuring the timely and accurate administration of payroll for monthly pay runs. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a smooth payroll process, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and continuously improving our procedures for greater efficiency.
You will need to be highly motivated, efficient and organised and enjoy working as part of a team, whilst also being comfortable working independently. Accuracy and attention to detail is vital in this post.
