HR & Payroll Administrator - Airbus Belfast (2 Roles Available)

Location: Airport Road, Belfast, Northern Ireland

Contract Type: Full-time, 12-month contract (with potential extension)

Pay: £15.92/hour PAYE or £21.30/hour Umbrella

Hours: 35 hours/week

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (handled by Airbus Security)

IR35 Status: Inside

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring payroll accuracy and supporting our workforce with time and attendance management.

Whether you're a recent graduate or someone with a couple of years' experience in HR or payroll administration, this role offers a brilliant next step in your career journey.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Time & Attendance Management: Administer and maintain our local system using Google Appsheet.
  • Payroll Support: Collate and submit critical HR data to ensure accurate monthly payroll, liaising with our North Wales payroll team.
  • Employee Support: Be the go-to person for time and attendance queries, supporting managers, employees, and HR.
  • Reporting: Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for payroll and management insights.
  • Leave Administration: Manage all types of leave including annual, sick, parental, and authorised absences.
  • Data Entry & Auditing: Handle uploads, manual adjustments, and resolve system errors to maintain data integrity.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years in HR or payroll administration (or strong transferable skills).
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
  • Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is key - you'll be handling sensitive data.
  • Communicator: Clear, concise, and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Organised: Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Discreet: Trusted to handle confidential employee information.

Desirable Extras

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
