General Operations & Office Support
- First point of contact for clients, visitors and employees — delivering a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage meeting room booking and preparation, including catering if required.
- Book team travel and hotel accommodations, securing cost-effective options.
- Responsible for new starters’ induction process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Take an active role in our Social Committee to help foster a strong workplace culture.
- provide PA support to the CEO, including calendar and expense management.
- Support our Operations Director by managing the freelancer booking process.
What we’re looking for in the HR and Operations Advisor:
Must have:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) — ability to foster strong relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with discretion and a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while retaining strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with a helpful, enthusiastic and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills for this busy role requiring careful follow-through.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a changing workplace.
- Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related business software).
- A professional, trustworthy, calm, and dependable character — able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Workday (HCM) for maintaining employee data and generating reports, is a strong advantage
- Previous experience with Worksome or other freelance administration platforms would be helpful
