Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the Core Services UK HR Team. You will act as the primary ER advisor, manage a high volume of complex cases, and coach managers through disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes.

You will partner with HR Business Partners to drive people initiatives while ensuring compliance with UK employment law. Hybrid working applies, supporting a balance of home and office-based activity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an HR generalist or Employee Relations-focused role.
• Experience managing high volumes of ER cases with complex matters.
• Strong UK employment law knowledge and its practical application.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience coaching managers and supporting organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR advisor on Employee Relations matters and coach managers.
• Independently manage a large volume of complex ER cases across disciplinary, grievance, and related processes.
• Lead end-to-end case management with risk and policy compliance.
• Support investigations, hearings, appeals, and outcome recommendations.
• Provide guidance on performance management and underperformance improvement.
• Partner with HR Business Partners on strategic people initiatives.
• Analyse people data and ER trends to identify risks and proactive solutions.
• Develop and deliver HR training on performance, absence, discipline, investigations, and employment law.
