At Siemens Mobility, we're developing innovative transport solutions that are transforming the future of rail and making travel more sustainable. Start your career at the heart of that journey!

Are you an ambitious undergraduate looking for a unique Internship?

Kick-start your career with a 12-month placement that gives you the opportunity to experience life at Siemens Mobility. You'll be immersed in real projects, gaining hands on industry experience, develop valuable business skills and build meaningful relationships across the business. Supported by structured development activities and a network of colleagues and fellow interns, you'll leave the programme with the experience, learning, confidence and connections to take the next step in your career.

Our Siemens Mobility UKI Central Functions business unit provides the strategic backbone, delivering essential operational, financial, and administrative support for innovative transportation solutions and projects across the UK and Ireland.

You’ll make a difference by:
  • Make an impact through DEI: Support the delivery of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) priorities, work with employee networks and help create engaging communications that bring key initiatives to life.
  • Turn data into meaningful insights: Build your analytical skills by exploring HR data, surveys and external research to identify trends and opportunities that help shape future priorities and decision‑making.
  • Build relationships and support business change: Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across HR, DEI and the wider organisation, while supporting HR Business Partners with organisational and reorganisation strategies. You’ll gain valuable insight into how HR supports people and the business through periods of change.
  • Take responsibility from the start: Get involved in a variety of HR projects with real responsibility from day one, building practical experience across areas such as HR policies, learning and development, talent management and project management while developing the skills to grow your HR career.

In addition to your day-to-day role and learning, you will take part in a structured development programme consisting of professional skills training and coaching support.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in your degree
  • Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
