• A good standard of education including literacy and numeracy at a minimum of Level 2
• Excellent ICT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• Ability to use people systems and databases to accurately record and manipulate data with the ability to learn how to use new systems quickly
• Previous experience of working in a role which requires a high level of attention to detail
• Exceptional standard of written and oral communication at all levels, including handling a range of enquiries sensitively and confidentially.

Further details about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the HR team in a newly created role as a HR and Cover Administrator at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form, based in Melton, East Riding of Yorkshire.

The working hours are up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (07:00am -15:00pm) and Friday (07:00am -14:30pm) during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 10 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. You will also be required to work some days during the school holidays. Your actual salary will be £22,897.80 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
