The Position

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR service. In this fast-paced, varied role, you will work closely with all staff across the Group, offering advice on employee relations, policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters.
  • Accurately record notes during meetings and prepare detailed formal HR documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding activities.
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, final documentation, and ensuring a smooth, positive departure experience for leavers.
  • Provide probationary advice and guidance to managers and new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Administer and maintain HR systems and databases.
  • Manage and maintain the internal intranet site, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
  • Compile and distribute a quarterly internal newsletter, sharing updates, news, and employee engagement content.
  • Support HR Manager with employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Carry out other general HR administrative duties.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations matters
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified is desirable
  • Proven knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven experience in using HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

This role is a full-time position, office based, Monday to Friday.
