Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing employee relations, particularly with sensitive matters.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices with ability to implement authentically.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership.
  • In-depth understanding of LGBTQ+ workplace issues and inclusive employment practices.

  • Provide expert advice to the CEO on UK employment legislation, regulations, and contemporary HR practices.
  • Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for employee positions, ensuring inclusive practices.
  • Advise on employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters with sensitivity.
  • Guide performance management and development initiatives for the employee team.
  • Support the coordination between employee team and volunteer teams where employment matters intersect.

Your role

The HR Advisor role is essential in supporting Pride in London's employee team. You'll provide expert guidance on employment matters to the CEO, ensuring we maintain best practices in managing our employees. This role ensures we uphold our values of Visibility, Unity, and Equality in all employment practices, creating a workplace where our employee team can thrive authentically.

As HR Advisor, you will provide strategic counsel on employment matters to the CEO whilst offering hands-on support to ensure our employee practices reflect our commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and inclusive employment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
