Job description

Temporary HR Advisor Role

Our client, due to a busy period, requires an HR Advisor to respond to general HR queries, providing prompt, customer-focused guidance to employees.

The role involves providing managers and employees with expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote compliance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with data protection regulations, processing contractual changes, and drafting and issuing change of contractual term letters to employees. The HR Advisor will also assist with employee relations matters in partnership with managers, including handling grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions to ensure fair and consistent resolutions. Additionally, the role involves providing recruitment support through CV sifting, candidate screening, and verifying right-to-work documentation. The position is based in Skelmersdale, with some hybrid working arrangements.

The client is looking to conduct interviews during the week commencing 30th June, with the aim of starting shortly thereafter.
