We’re working with a well-established organisation to recruit a confident, capable, and people-focused HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of their own business area while contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives across the organisation.

The Opportunity:

This role will see you supporting a fast-paced division as their go-to HR advisor, guiding managers and employees through all aspects of the employee lifecycle-from inductions and policy updates to casework, wellbeing, and recruitment. You’ll have the chance to get involved in ongoing projects while working closely with an HR Business Partner and a collaborative wider HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise managers and staff on a broad range of HR matters in line with policy and employment law.

Build strong working relationships across your division to support people-related challenges.

Support and contribute to HR projects including benefits, health screening, and compliance audits.

Monitor probation periods and provide support and documentation up to senior manager level.

Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and procedures.

Deliver inductions to employees and contractors, keeping content up to date and engaging.

Provide guidance on first-stage grievance and disciplinary cases; attend meetings as HR rep and notetaker.

Support flexible working, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave processes.

Maintain employee records and data accuracy in Workday.

Support the administration of new starters and contractor onboarding, including CEST assessments.

Organise and conduct exit interviews and support managers in managing employee relations.

Conduct visa checks and track renewal timelines.

Support recruitment activity and assist with interviews within your division when required.

What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience in both HR administration and advisory roles.

Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.

Ability to build strong working relationships and offer sound generalist HR advice.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience using HR systems (e.g., Workday).
