HR Advisor/People Advisor - 12 month FTC

Ideally based in Reading, Oxford, Bristol, Cardiff, Gatwick or Southampton.

Flexible/Hybrid working available.

Role overview

You will be part of a flexible team supporting the business with activities related to performance, talent, and reward. You will guide and coach managers on managing their teams effectively, including handling performance issues, absence, investigations, and disciplinary cases. You will work alongside Senior People Advisers and People Advisory Managers to deliver on our people strategy and initiatives.

This role offers opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop your skills.

Candidate requirements

• Experience in a generalist HR role supporting large client groups.
• Experience with employee relations, including absence management, investigations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Examples of supporting managers with impactful initiatives.

Desirable skills include experience in large, complex organizations, working within service line structures, delivering inclusion and diversity initiatives, and managing processes like salary reviews and talent management.
