Providing day-to-day HR advice and coaching to managers and employees across the business.
Managing employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee development and performance management activities.
Advising on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
Supporting HR projects, organisational change and people initiatives to improve engagement, retention and the employee experience.
Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role, ideally with a CIPD level 3 or CIPD level 5 qualification, or working towards them.
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience managing employee relations cases.
Confidence advising, coaching and constructively challenging managers at different levels, from shop floor to senior management.
Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
A proactive, pragmatic and solutions‑focused approach with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
