HR Advisor (Fixed-Term Maternity Cover)

Leatherhead, Surrey (Hybrid model)

  • Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience

The Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to key HR initiatives.

You will work closely with the HR Business Partner and wider HR team to provide a high-quality HR service across multiple business areas, including Finance, IT, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Sales functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice to line managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law
  • Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters
  • Supporting recruitment processes from job advertising to onboarding, in collaboration with the Recruiter
  • Coordinating and supporting performance management cycles, including mid-year and end-of-year reviews
  • Advising on flexible working, maternity/paternity leave, and absence management
  • Leading or supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Supporting the delivery of HR-led training and policy updates
  • Acting as HR representative in formal meetings and producing accurate documentation
  • Deputising for the HR Business Partner when required

  • Financial Services experience
