Allen Associates is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a maternity cover fixed-term contract in the UK. The role involves guiding managers on complex employee relations, managing onboarding and lifecycle activities, and maintaining robust HRIS with a focus on safeguarding and inclusivity.

The successful candidate will coordinate learning initiatives, work closely with senior leaders, and thrive in a values-led environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience providing HR advice on complex employee relations matters with a sound understanding of UK employment law.

HR Advisor (Maternity Cover) Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

• Providing practical HR advice to managers on complex employee relations matters, supporting fair and effective decision-making.
• Managing core people processes, including onboarding, employee lifecycle administration and maternity cover activities.
• Maintaining accurate HR information systems and ensuring policies and procedures remain effective and inclusive.
• Supporting safeguarding processes and applying relevant principles within the organisation.
• Coordinating learning and development initiatives to support staff capability.
• Working collaboratively with senior leaders and colleagues across a values-led organisation.

HR Advisor (Maternity Cover) Rewards

• Salary of £35 to £37 per annum, depending on experience.
• Seven-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.
• Full-time or 0.8 FTE working arrangements.
• 25 days' annual leave, plus public holidays and additional leave between Christmas and New Year.
• Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.

HR Advisor (Maternity Cover) Experience Essentials

Location

This hybrid role requires two to three days on site each week and offers strong public transport links, including convenient access by train.
