Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Advisor in Lisburn. The role involves supporting the HR Manager and managing the Employee Services Team to deliver effective HR services. Candidates should have relevant HR experience and qualifications, including CIPD membership or qualifications in HR.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a large, complex organization.
  • Experience in employee services and HR statistics.
  • Alternatively, 4 years in HR and pursuing CIPD membership.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Manager in delivering effective employee services.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Employee Services Team.
  • Produce timely attendance management statistics for HR Board.

Our client seeks a Temporary Human Resources Advisor based in Lisburn To support the HR Manager Resourcing & Employee Services to ensure the delivery of an effective support service to the HR Advisory Department.

This position is a temporary ongoing position. £19.11 per hour

Hour of work Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Duties include but not limited to:

1. To support the HR Manager Resourcing & Employee services to ensure the delivery of an effective support service to the HR Advisory Department.
2. To take a lead role on all employee services issues.
3. To manage the day to day activities of the Employee Services Team (EST) and ensure the provision of a range of professional and effective employee services* for the HR Advisory Department.
4. To regularly review and update all Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) relating to Employee Services.
5. To ensure all members of the EST are fully trained and developed in all aspects of Employee Services, including utilisation of HR systems, and are competent in all SOPs.
6. To ensure policy requirements and timescales with respect to employee services, including relevant statutory requirements, are adhered to.
7. To produce accurate and timely attendance management statistics and reports for managers, Committees and the HR Board Report.

  • Either:
    Possess a degree level qualification
    and
    Have current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Associate level (Assoc CIPD) or above
    and
    Have at least two years’ experience of working in a HR function within a large complex organisation, multi-site, multi-disciplinary* to include:
    1.Provision of employee services and
    2.Production of HR statistics and reports

OR

and

2. Be working towards achieving professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
and

3. Have at least four years’ experience of working in a HR function within a large complex organisation, multi-site, multi-disciplinary* to include:
Provision of employee services and
Production of HR statistics and reports.
