Job summary

A local employment agency in Bournemouth is seeking an HR Advisor to provide expert support on HR policies. The ideal candidate will have Full CIPD membership and relevant experience in employee relations. This full-time, hybrid role offers an hourly pay of £17.79. Job description

HR Advisor (Hybrid) needed in Bournemouth, £17.79ph PAYE - Reference: 5273555


Main Responsibilities

  • Review, consult on, and support the implementation of People and Culture policies in line with employment legislation, best practice, and council values
  • Monitor changes in employment law and advise on implications for council policies and practices
  • Collaborate with People and Culture colleagues, trade unions, legal advisors, and service managers to ensure policies are practical, legally sound, and aligned with organisational needs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex HR policy development to senior leaders and People and Culture Business Partners


The Ideal Candidate
• Full Membership of CIPD
• Relevant experience of employee relations and policy development in a unionised environment.
• Ability to analyse complex HR processes and produce logical and accessible policies and procedures

There will be some requirement to work in the office. Interviews will be in person.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
