An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join a leading Manufacturing company based in Rochester Kent.

This is a true generalist multifaceted role with responsibilities and project work spanning across the whole spectrum of HR, L&D, and EDI objectives.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in providing generalist HR advice and guidance in either FMCG/Retail or Manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. CIPD qualified to at least level 3.
  2. Experience and competence of working in a generalist HR environment including employee relations.
  3. Good problem-solving skills.
  4. Able to communicate effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong prior experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Experience of managing formal ER casework.
  • Proven ability to hit the ground running and pick up mid-process activities, identify and implement improvements as agreed by the Company.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a large workload under pressure.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of employment law and keep up to date with changes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence with confidence at a senior level.
  • High attention to detail, proactive, able to coach and develop others through advice.
  • Excellent communications skills to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance.
