Job description

A great interim opportunity for an HR Advisor / ER Advisor- 3 Months (could extend) to join a dedicated HR team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advising and supporting managers through various change programmes, including restructuring, redundancy, and redeployment programmes. You will be responsible for consultations and drafting letters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support managers during change programmes, including restructuring, redesign, exit and redundancy, and redeployment programmes.
  • Provide guidance and sit in on consultations and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Advise, support, and coach managers on a range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary and grievance issues, performance and capability management, absence management, harassment and bullying cases, Employment Tribunals, and TUPE transfers.
  • Ensure that all advice given is commercially focused and risk-preferable.
  • This is a hybrid role, based in the office in Stevenage 2-3 days per week.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory or ER advisory role.
  • You must have experience managing redundancy consultations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
  • You must be able to start with no more than 2 weeks' notice.
