Job summary

The Talent World is seeking an HR Advisor – Employee Relations in Slough with hybrid working (2 days WFH). You will manage a busy ER caseload, provide practical HR advice to managers, and drive data-informed people decisions.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK employment law, TUPE exposure is a plus, and the ability to influence stakeholders. Join a large, international organisation offering development opportunities, a competitive salary of £40,000–£45,000, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, ER Advisor or in a similar generalist HR role.
• Strong, hands-on Employee Relations experience with end-to-end case management.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and guiding managers in people matters.
• Confidence influencing and challenging managers and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting Occupational Health referrals and recommendations.
• TUPE experience would be an advantage.
• Comfortable working with HR data, reports and people metrics.
• Data-driven and analytical mindset with ability to derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR Advisor to managers, providing practical HR advice.
• Manage a busy Employee Relations caseload from initial advice to resolution.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance cases.
• Lead investigations, formal meetings and complex employee matters.
• Advise on flexible working, family-related matters and lifecycle issues.
• Coach and guide managers to build confidence and capability.
• Get involved with TUPE transfers and related change.
• Provide HR reporting and analytics to drive decisions.
