Job summary

The Talent World is recruiting an Employee Relations Manager to lead a busy ER function across multiple business areas. You will coach a small team, ensure consistent case handling and provide guidance on complex employment relations issues in a hybrid UK environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, deep knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing high-volume ER activity to support a stable, proactive HR capability.

Qualifications

• Comfortable operating at pace with credibility and structure.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ability to advise on complex ER matters.
• Experience managing high-volume employee relations activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ER Advisors and ER Assistants.
• Coach and develop the team to self-manage cases.
• Balance workloads across a high-volume ER environment.
• Oversee complex and higher-risk ER cases requiring escalation.
• Support disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and TUPE matters.
• Advise on restructuring and workforce change post acquisitions.
• Contribute to quality and audit improvements across ER.
• Identify trends and risks using ER data for better decisions.
