Your new role
You will be part of a large team of HR professionals and work as a specialist HR Advisor focussing on low volume but complex employee relation cases. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Advise, guide, and coach managers to help deliver the vision and mission of the organisation.
- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations (ER) cases from start to finish.
- Coach managers on best practices in: contractual matters, effective communication, team motivation and development.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of people procedures.
- Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives to provide tools, data, and guidance and improve the employee experience.
- Ensure all interactions with employees are fair, process-aligned, and legally compliant.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous in-depth knowledge of employee relations and possess a real passion for working on complex cases through to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and simplify complex information.
- Independent worker: managing and prioritising deadlines and then delivering results and solutions.
- Confident with systems and data; experience with MS SharePoint and Power BI is a bonus.
- An ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including customers and colleagues.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative and respectful environment.
