A growing business of 130 heads over 2 sites

Client Details

A retail business with 130 heads over 2 sites with plans to grow in the future and an opportunity for this role to evolve and grow with the business.

Description

  • Provide expert guidance on HR policy, employment law and best practices
  • Support and develop the HR department's strategies and objectives
  • Champion company values and work to foster positive working relationships across the business
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
  • Assist with recruitment processes, employee onboarding and training
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for employee development
  • Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required
  • Support the implementation of change management initiatives within the company

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar HR role within the retail sector
  • A thorough understanding of UK employment law
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decision
