Location: Atherton, Greater Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established and growing organisation. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Atherton, offering a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office and two days working from home.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support a workforce of around 100 employees across a broad range of generalist HR responsibilities, providing first-line advice and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

Manage recruitment administration: posting vacancies, liaising with agencies, coordinating interviews, issuing contracts, and completing pre-employment checks

Lead the onboarding process, delivering inductions and ensuring new starter documentation is completed

Maintain and update HR systems (HealthboxHR and Uattend), including employee records, training logs, and absence data

Administer employee benefits, including pension, private medical, and other schemes

Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and signposting where necessary

Manage fleet administration, including licence checks and vehicle compliance

Support sickness and absence monitoring, including return-to-work processes

Assist with organising employee events and recognition programmes

Support appraisal processes and performance reviews by liaising with managers and maintaining records

Produce HR reports and assist with general administration tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role within the private sector

Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload independently

Confident using HR systems and MS Office
