The ideal candidate has a CIPD Level 5 qualification and 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. HR Advisor

Salary: £30K-£35K

Contract: 12 Month FTC

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a successful manufacturing company in Westbury.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering HR policies effectively and providing advice, guidance, and support to management and employees.

We seek an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice to the business, advocating best practices and communicating policy and legislative changes.
  • Assist the HR Manager with employee-related issues such as investigations, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
  • Support the company’s performance review process, including annual appraisals, training, and succession planning.
  • Manage recruitment processes, onboarding programs, and retention strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships with employees and maintain presence across the manufacturing facility.
  • Produce reports and high-quality documentation.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support strategic projects.

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification (preferably Level 5).
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience as an HR Advisor or Administrator.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR databases, and digital platforms.
  • High attention to detail, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with payroll is advantageous.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships at all organizational levels.
