Qualifications

Job description

Location: Wellingborough

Salary: £31,500 per annum

Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role

This is a generalist HR advisory role working closely with the HR Administrator based at the Wellingborough site and supporting the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • To have a strong understanding of HR processes and provide support to Management with working practices, grievance, disciplinary, recruitment, pay, conditions of employment, equality and diversity and staff welfare
  • To assist in the implementation of policies relating to the effective management of personnel
  • To assist in the provision of training and development opportunities available to employees to enhance their performance and achieve Company objectives
  • To manage role related projects as required
  • Reporting on various areas of HR including turnover and absence
  • On boarding and Induction & Leaver processes
  • Administer holiday and absence documentation and update HR records
  • Retention and Engagement
  • Data Management and Compliance
  • Employee Relations
  • Confidently advising managers on HR processes and procedures including grievance, discipline, absence management, maternity, paternity, flexible working etc
  • Supporting the HR Manager to manage HR projects in line with Company and departmental objectives
  • Support the HR Manager in aspects of Health & Safety
  • Training and Development
  • Management of Employee database and Information spreadsheets
  • HR Administration
  • Promote data security in and outside of the business at all times, strict adherence to DPA and information security standards
  • Adhere to stated company policies and procedures and carry out all duties in a way which is consistent with the company's values
  • The completion of duties as required from time to time by the HR Manager
Skills And Qualifications
  • Must be CIPD qualified (or working towards)
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be an effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity and approachability, and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Must demonstrate good time management, planning and organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously to a high level of accuracy
  • A focused and self-motivated approach to work
  • Experience of working in an HR team and at least 1 years' experience at an Advisor level.
  • Willing to train as Mental Health First Aider
