Qualifications

  • Experience of working in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor capacity.
  • Confidence in and experience of working within HR Information Systems.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.

Responsibilities

  • First line support for general HR queries including Employee Relations and Payroll.
  • Working within HR systems to ensure employee details are maintained.
  • Supporting the induction process to ensure new starters have an excellent experience.

Fixed Term Contact (Maternity Cover) - commencing September 2025

Supporting the South & East HRA Cluster Team primarily based at Berkshire Hospital

We are looking for people with HR background who wish to develop their HR career within a progressive, customer focused environment. You will be part of our Corporate People Team providing a first class front line HR Advisory service for our South & East Cluster. You will be an advocate to the business ensuring that our employee experience is second to none.

What you will do:-

Acting as a first line support for general HR queries, including Employee Relations and Payroll, providing timely and accurate advice in line with Ramsay HR policy, legislation and guidance from subject matter experts

Working within our Workday and Rostering systems to ensure employee details are maintained and employees are paid correctly – full training will be provided

Ensuring that all employee compliance checks are accurate and up to date

Supporting the induction process and ensuring that new starters have an excellent experience

Attending formal Employee Relations meetings as company witness and note taker

Coordination of Occupational Health referral and maintaining sickness absence records

What you will bring with you:-

Experience of working in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor capacity – CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience

Confidence in and experience of working within HR Information Systems would be ideal, however full training will be provided

The ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team

Experience of working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage but not essential
