Real Life Options Group is seeking an HR Advisor to support managers across our services on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You will deliver expert ER guidance, manage complex employee relations matters and help maintain compliant HR practices in a multi-site setting.

Working in a hybrid model with a requirement to travel within the England region, you will collaborate with the HR Manager and wider team to provide a high-quality, timely HR service and support our people and service users.

Formación

• Ideally CIPD Level 5 or working towards this.
• Experience in supporting and advising managers on employee relations and casework is key.
• Experience in social care or other regulated settings is advantageous.
• Role supports England region with some travel; driving license/vehicle advantageous.

HR Advisor – Fixed-Term Contract (maternity cover)

Location: Knottingley, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Hours:

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Contract: Fixed-term, approximately 12 months

Working Pattern: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

Real Life Options is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly and professional HR team on a fixed-term contract of approximately 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a values-driven social care organisation, providing practical, responsive and professional HR support to managers across our services. You will play an important role in helping managers navigate a wide range of people-related matters, ensuring our HR service continues to support both our employees and the people we care for.

About the role

As HR Advisor, you will provide expert advice, guidance and support to managers on a broad range of HR matters, with a particular focus on employee relations. Working closely with the HR Manager, HR Business Partner and wider HR team, you will help ensure the effective delivery of a responsive, consistent and high-quality HR service across the organisation.

You will build positive working relationships with managers and key stakeholders, supporting them to manage people matters confidently, fairly and in line with organisational policies, procedures and employment legislation.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to use your HR expertise, contribute to the ongoing development of our people practices and make a meaningful difference across our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Relations casework, including being the first point of contact for managers and employees on all ER matters including performance management, disciplinary and grievance
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers, ensuring fair and consistent handling of cases
• Provide guidance and advice to line managers on navigating the complexities of long-term sickness, and return to work plans
• Monthly reporting

Qualifications and Skills:

We’re looking for someone with the skills and experience to hit the ground running. Ideally you’ll be CIPD qualified (Level 5) or working towards this, but it’ll be your experience in supporting and advising managers with employee relations and casework that is key. Experience in social care, or other regulated settings will be an advantage. This role will support the England region, with some of our services located in remote areas, being a driver with access to a vehicle will be advantageous as some ad hoc travel may be required.
