Job description

We are seeking a Band 5 HR Advisor to join our friendly and supportive HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover Maternity Leave, working 37.5 hours per week.

If you are an existing NHS Employee, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. You should gain agreement from your current employer before applying to be released on secondment.

Visa sponsorship is not offered for this post.

Main duties of the job

To provide a focused HR service, ensuring professional, proactive, comprehensive, and effective HR advice and support is provided to line managers within designated business groups throughout the Trust. The role involves ensuring that the service provided is consistent within defined quality standards and all relevant policies and procedures, to effectively implement the HR strategy, objectives, and KPIs across the organization. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment by implementing policies, acting promptly on concerns, and sharing information appropriately.
