About the HR Advisor Role

We are looking for an HR Advisor to support all aspects of human resources within our manufacturing site. The HR Advisor will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day HR operations, providing guidance to management and employees, and ensuring best practices are met across the business.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor include:

  • Payroll Administration - Supporting payroll processes, ensuring accurate employee records, handling payroll queries, and liaising with finance to ensure timely payments.
  • Absence & Sickness Management - Advising managers, overseeing long-term absences, and ensuring effective case management.
  • Employee Relations - Providing expert HR advice, ensuring compliance with company policies, and leading HR meetings such as disciplinaries, grievances, and inductions.
  • Policy & Compliance - Ensuring HR procedures align with legal requirements and industry best practices.

About You

We are seeking an HR Advisor who can step into this role with confidence. Our fast-moving environment requires someone who can adapt quickly and bring valuable expertise to the team.

To be successful in this HR Advisor role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG business
  • CIPD qualification or relevant degree-level education
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
